Here you go! The moment you've all been waiting for! Photos of the whole collection of Rescue Ponies who live at our home. I'll try to guide you around the living room as we go, but don't be shocked if your eyes take a while to adjust to the coloured pictures ahead!
We start on the window sill. Excuse the screwed up net curtains - the ponies refuse to allow them to fall nicely! Here we have fakies (not all of those who live at the Rescue Home - they didn't fit! - but quite a nice selection !) and some of our pony cancer patients...
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection44.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection45.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection46.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection47.jpg) "Don't forget us!" Call four Lemon Drop's and a Starshine as they see me about to leave the windowsill with my camera.
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection48.jpg)
I turn away from the window, and see my Mum's antique chair in the corner. There should be just two teddies on the chair, but some of our most recent rescues have managed to climb up and join the pair of bears!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection1.jpg)
Having tripped on two piles of pony videos, a few jigsaws and three MIP G3's (MIP G2 and G3 are not shown in these pictures - I'll have to do that some other time!) I walk two steps and come across our TV, standing on a cupboard full of videos. Videos have gathered in piles in front of this cupboard over the years as well, not that we can get to them - the ponies have invaded this space too!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection2.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection3.jpg)
The Flutter Ponies have landed - well, all except for Peach Blossom who is currently "flying" from a thread out of this picture, and a few Honeysuckle's and Morning Glory's who we'll meet in just a moment! - on my Grandma's old sewing box where once needles and threads would reign! What a shock she'd have if she saw the brightly-coloured inhabitants of this space these days!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection4.jpg)
Now to the table of "special" ponies where the "Royalty" of our Rescue Home stands! Here you will meet the Tales characters, our three Truly's, two Lofty's, Tex, Gusty, Pinkie Pie, Kiwi Tart, Sheel Belle, Sweet Stuff, Galaxy and Posey's Elderly Owner's infamous Posey!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection5.jpg)
More Pony Cancer patients are standing proudly on the matelpiece and fireplace. In the third picture, you can see my Great Grandad riding Herbert the horse in WWI. Herbert was sadly killed after the war to be made into horse meat - something which broke my Great Grandad's heart and still lives in ours to this day .
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection6.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection7.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection8.jpg)
Oh, who's this? It's the Ponyland pets, who have a temporary home on a pile of library books which are sitting in front of the sofa!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection9.jpg)
These ponies are performing acrobatics behind the sewing box and Flutter Ponies!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection10.jpg)
And these MLP's are standing below the acrobatic ponies!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection11.jpg)
These ponies and fakies are standing on the other side of the fireplace.
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection13.jpg)
Now to crawl along the floor and get shots of the MLP's hiding beneath the Flutter Pony sewing box and Special Pony Table!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection14.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection15.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection17.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection18.jpg)
Re-emerging from under the sewing box and table...well, you'll have to see it to believe it!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection20.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection21.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection22.jpg)
The "Plushie Pile" officially, but how many sneaky little plastic ponies can you spot? These are newly arrived duplicate ponies and some of the latest G3 Collection MLP's!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection23.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection24.jpg)
I am completely lost for words on what to say about most of these! So here's a mostly photographic guide of the rest of the room!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection25.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection26.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection27.jpg)
The "fuzzily soft" So Soft Ponies are "nuzzling" up to each other on another piece of my Mum's antique furniture!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection28.jpg)
And here are the many McDonalds Ponies, Petite Ponies and Bubble Bath Bottles who live at the Rescue Home along with my MOC Posey, MOC Stargaze and MWP Birthflower Rose!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection29.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection30.jpg)

![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection33.jpg)
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection34.jpg)
Some MLP logos I made from paper as decorations at Truly's welcome party (the reason that the ponies are out in the living room)!
![[image] [image]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l280/Desiree-Skylark/Collection36.jpg)
The overflow collection G3's (Well, those who would fit - the "overflow overflow" invaded the Plushie Pile!) are living temporarily on this G3 MLP table with Sprinkles and her waterfall!

Well, that's the end of the tour, folks! I hope you enjoyed it, and will continue to read about the ponies at the Rescue Home on this forum ! I also hope you aren't too dazzled by the pictures above, and that your computers haven't all crashed (as mine will probably do when I post this LOL!)

wow That's amazing! That looks even more "insane" than when I had about 400 ponies out in our living room some years ago . All your ponies look happy and content .

She's perfectly happy here, Lady Ember! Please don't take her away! There are two of them here actually - one's made in Hong Kong and one's made in Spain. Both were found for 50p at toy fairs over here...keep a look out! I'm sure you'll be lucky soon!

Tokala - Well, the Posey on the "Special Pony" table belongs to my Mum or "Posey's Elderly Owner" (:p), but apart from that they're all mine! Now that you see how much space it takes up, are you relieved that you don't run a Pony Rescue Home?
Lady Ember - Yes, the Baby Heart Throb on the right is made in Spain, as is the second NBBE Baby Ribbon in that row. I've never heard of NBBE Baby Ponies being made in countries other than Hong Kong before, so these two have always confused me!

I took some photos of the two Babies today, so that I could show you the differences. The markings on their hooves won't come out in the pictures though , so you'll just have to see the differences in the colours, I'm afraid.

O...M...G... O_O
Hey! Save some ponies for the rest of us! LOL. I would love to do something similar to a rescue home, like a Restored home. I LOVE restoring any sad little pony I can. It's like they have their life back! *g* Do you keep every pony you ever see? I'm inspired. I want to restore sad ponies now, anyone have some they don't want? The baitier the better. LOL j/k... sorta...

Yes, spread the rescuing love! We need Rescue Home's worldwide for all of the sad, lonely and unwanted ponies that I can't reach! I don't keep *every* pony I ever see - they seem to be far more abundant at UK car boot sales/charity shops than US thrift stores/garage sales, and these are just the ones I've gathered over the years. I've seen so many others, but the madness has to stop somewhere! However, I can never bear to part with a pony once she enters the Rescue Home - that's where the pony-sickness steps in, I guess!

Just letting you all know that I decided to move this thread in here until things have died down a little. While it's in the Staff Room (i.e. Set to Private and with a different URL), the nasty jokers won't be able to see it. Just watch the guest numbers drop! In a week or so, when this has all been forgotten, I'll move the thread back to "Meet The Ponies!"
I hope you all agree with that. I only wish I could see the looks on people's faces when they click the link, ready to make fun of us, and nothing happens!

Hello, Laura! I just logged into ask on the staff room about that. Great minds think alike, as they say. It seems the evil people have left us alone (for now), and it has been a fortnight so...
