So who collects fakies?
I have a grand total of 3, one being Rinse & Spit, I'm told she is quite valuable? The other 2 I bought for 25p each because the littel girl on the stall hadn't sold a thing and was so sweet! ^_^

I notice that a pink fake has joined Posey on the settee today. I'm told that it's an American fake which shouldn't really be over here at all. Her hair is falling out, maybe she needs a wig

I have several ponies who aren't real My Little Ponies but I don't collect them. Actually one of my dearest ponies isn't a real My Little Pony.

We have a lot of them at the Rescue Home! I'm glad that I rescue all ponies, because one "fakie" that I bought in a huge bag of about 50 ponies (mostly fakies, but there were three MLP's and a strange ceramic pony) for 2.00gbp turned out to be a Spanish Piggie Pony !

I still need to find a fakie in a G3 mold... Does anyone know if they're available in the UK yet? I know that Dusky found Rush Airily on the Isle Of Man, but have any been sighted since?

Yeah, I try to be "selective" about the fakies I collect... heh heh... I'm considering collecting pegasi fakies specifically. But anywho... right now I have one near-petite-size fakie from my childhood (a little blue pony wearing a bath towel and holding a duckie...sssooooo cute, I need to find more of these!), a couple of Cabbage Patch crimp-and-style ponies or somesuch that I've always thought of as fakies (the green pegasus is the only one I'm definitely keeping : 0-P ) and, hanging on the backboard of my dresser, three somewhat freaky pegasi fakies I snatched in a trade with Manna, the purple one of whom still needs a name. (But the pink is Priscilla Stareyes and the yellow is Winnie Moon. : 0-P ) There's also a plastic rearing horse, spotted black on white like a dalmatian, who's on my bedstand by my cd player right now, a blue and white rearing unicorn (from Pizza Planet, was she??) and various other horsey beasts around the room, but they're not quite fakies, really--wrong style/too realistic ; 0-P Oh, and of course (how could I forget!) the set of much-loved original Littlest Pet Shop horses sitting on my bed right now! <3 (Tinsel seems to work much better for them than it does for MLPs, somehow...lol.)
Oooh, piggy pony! And Princess Rinse 'n' Spit! O.O Luuuucky. X 0-)

My Mum (Posey's Elderly Owner) loves Cabbage Patch Ponies - she bought one at a toy fair once with strange stringy hair...but we don't know where she went...

I love your fakie collection, Mainsail. The US fakes are quite different to those from the UK. Have you ever seen any of the flocked Lanard fakies? I know my Mum bought a grey one a long time ago, but she appears to have got lost in a box of fakies somewhere. I'm sure she'll show up when we move house later this year!

I thought you would have heard of them, and be able to tell me where they came from, Mainsail, being the Lanard fan that you are ! Maybe they were UK exclusives, or fake Lanards, since I couldn't see hoff markings due to her flock. She was in the same mold as the old Party Ponies, and just a plain grey colour with frizzy (maybe curly at some stage?) white hair. I wish I could find her to take some pics now!

hi i dont collect fakies but i do have a bag of them.
I do keep the fakies with the cool rip off my little pony g3 logos on them. I think that is neet. I am not sure why hasbro doesent put a stop to the logo taking.

I know, Drusilla. The weirdest one I ever saw was that So Soft Newborn who was on e-Bay recently. They actually called her a 'My Little Pony'. How do these companies get away with it?

Hi
I wonder if hasbro is aware of them all out there or if they just dont bother with it. They had g3 fakies at my dollar store and on the box was the exact same g3 pony pictures but in different colors. I am really surprised sometimes.
