Explanation for lack of newsletter...

Hello, Pony Friends!

As some of you may have noticed, we've been having a little bit of trouble with the boards, since somebody went and spread a particular link all around the internet, and wrote really nasty things about us.

Anyhow, some "spectators" who followed the links decided to sign up on this board, and I'm not keen to let them have more details about the Rescue Home Forum, hence the newsletter has not been sent out to 'all members', since this would include the bad people who signed up.

I hope to resume normal settings next month. I have to figure out how to get rid of the evil unwanted members first though...

Hey Lancer, I know you have computer troubles right now, but have you found out how to get rid of those nasty members?

Well, since they don't seem to be causing any further trouble right now, I'm kind of leaving them on the member list. If I ban them, they'll get notification e-mails, and that might cause them to return. So when I do finally get around to sending another newsletter, I'll send it through Hotmail, meaning I can pick and choose which members I send it to and, more importantly, which members will not get a copy...hence, the 'bad' members will not get ahold of anyone else's e-mail addresses.
