Well, having heard that the G1 re-releases were in the USA at Urban Outfitters, and being the fool that I am (usually!!), I automatically assumed they might be available here in Canada too. No idea why, since Hasbro have a habit of forgetting us all the time anyhow. But since I was desperate, I decided to take the long drive over to the only UO in the whole of Vancouver. I must admit I'd never been to the store before, since it's such a long way away, but even if I'd passed it before, I never would have thought of looking for ponies in there.
Anyhow, to cut to the point, I walked on up over to the toy department, and found two boxes; one of each set!! Of course, I bought them, and they're now on my shelves looking down at me.
I bought the only sets there, but they were in the store on Granville Street, just in case anyone wants to go looking for them. I'm not going back there to see if they've re-stocked the shelves though. It's a long drive for me (not really too good in my new car!!
) and I'd far rather visit family if I'm gonna go all that way. I'm not really impressed with the shop as a whole either . . . (Sorry, Urban Outfitters fans!!)
