Okay, I'm new here as you might have guessed already I'm from Germany and I love those little ponies since I was a kid. I think also a pony with cut hair can be lovable and does not need to remain unloved, since my ponies from my own childhood are mostly far from being in mint condition If you have any questions feel free to ask, but please keep in mind that English is not my mother tongue and I might have my problems with certain expressions. Thank you and happy pony caring

Hello there! Glad to see another member who loves those poor condition ponies as much as the minty ones. So who's your favourite pony, and how long have you been collecting? Sorry - I'm a nosy little pony! I hope you enjoy yourself here. If you need any help, feel free to ask. Desiree xxx

Don't worry, answering questions often is easier than giving information by oneself ;D Actually I love all ponies in a way. They're all special. If I had to choose I would perhaps choose Hopscotch, she's been my first pony ever (together with Baby Blossom). Although to me Hopscotch is rather a he to me And I love Starshine, because I really love her colours (and she's a he to me as well ;D ). Starshine's been my third pony. And since when am I collecting? Hard to say. I think it is right to say that I'm collecting since I got my first ponies. I forgot my age at that time. From age 15 to age 23 I made a break. And now I'm 29... By the way, I'm owning a German My Little Pony Forum and at the moment I'm working on a G2-Guide in German together with a friend. My backcard "guide" has to wait...

You know, I always thought of Hopscotch as a boy too. When I was little, "he" was married to Snowflake! I know very little German, although it's a language I would love to learn someday. I would still be interested to see your guide when it's finished though. There are so few sites dedicated to G2s.

I think there a lot of ponies rather male than female. The first things of the guide are online already, but not officially. The friend I'm working together with is busy with other things at the moment so it stopped a bit already. I noticed in this forum that there is space for G2 comics and books. Have there really been any? Does anybody have further information we are allowed to use for the guide? For learning German you might try signing up in my forum one day. We already have a couple of non native speakers there and also a space to learn or to talk in any language so you might like trying it

There were G2 comics sold in the UK and France (maybe also Holland?), and a few colouring/activity books. I don't know of any actual story books though. I have almost all of the UK comics and a couple of the French ones if you would like me to photograph the covers for your guide? Do you have a link for the forum? I would love to take a look.
