I was amazed to come across the recue home photos on this forum and instantly joined! I collected my first MLPs when I was about 6 - and desperately wanted an Applejack pony. My parents bought me one and I foolishly took her to school, where my best friend lost her over a fence.... and I never saw her again.... the scar never healed and 20 years later I went on the search for another Applejack pony... and on the way purchased a few more (about 100) and still going!!!
I didn't particularly like the G2 ponies, but the G3s really got me going again and I have lots of those. The original idea was to restore them and sell them on to good homes, but I haven't found the will to part with any of my ponies yet!!!
I particularly like the boy ponies and enjoy collect the Mountain Boy, Big Brother and Daddy Ponies, though I usually can't resist any pony which comes my way!!
About 50/50 of my collection is G1/G3, find me on eBay - basspiggy9953 - I have managed to sort out some ponies for sale at last, as I have run out of room for them.
Also looking for cures for pony cancer.
