Arrr, ahoy there mateys. Bryndel here. I like pirates. And Pirates. (of the Caribbean : 0-P ) In fact, I like just about all things Disney, heh, although the cartoons are really my favorites. I have a small collection of Disney cartoon soundtracks, which along with musicals and other movie soundtracks makes up the main portion of the music I listen to.But the only collection that outstrips my ponies is my overflowing shelves of books. X 0-)
I'm 20 years old, military brat by birth, a pre-vet student at Colorado State University who's headed for vet school proper next year--which means I probably won't have a lot of time left over for ponies! We get cubicles at school so I'll just have to take some of my favorites along and redecorate it to console myself--lol ; 0-) I have only one dog for a pet, although I'm considering getting a cat or maybe some gerbils or mice--trying to be good and not collect too many pets and overextend myself before I get out of vet school. MLPs, luckily, can be left on a shelf when need be : 0-P So for right now all my pocket money goes toward them instead.
Some of the other activities I'm involved in include swing dancing, SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism--a medieval reenactment group), and the CSU Prevet Club. I plan to start volunteering at the local humane society again starting this semester, something I've done many other places we've lived and which I have sorely missed. I spend a lot of time online, and not too much with the TV, although I do like to watch the occasional (Disney/cartoon : 0-P ) DVD and often go to the free Mystery Science Theater 3000 showings every Friday here. My ponies have been invited to watch recent screenings of "Cats Don't Dance" and Sonambula and other episodes of the old MLP show--right now on my bed are Bibi (Baby Softsteps), Steamer, Cuddles, and Kit (Sniffles) beside my computer, and Bluebell, Up Up & Away, Tumbleweed and Milkweed, Sundance, Baby Sea Princess, Baby Glory, Moonstone, Baby Fifi, blue Ember, Peppermint Crunch, Windy, Baby Dots 'n' Hearts, and Pillow Talk (whoof! I think that's it). And a large Clydesdale plush named Deverol, who isn't MLP but whom my softie Bowtie has a crush on. : 0-P And my dog Jack, of course, who's always stealing space on *my* bed, the greedy bugger.
Animals are my obsession, though I especially love dogs (Chinooks! <3) and rodents, in particular gerbils. I hope to eventually become a small animal/exotics vet, with a specialty in behavior. I love animal behavior, and beyond that, behavior problems end up getting far more pets killed than health problems, so I feel like I've found a passion worth dedicating the rest of my life to : 0-)
