Well, since my computer won't upload photos to Photobucket any more, I've decided I'll just have to link over to the appropriate pictures in my Myspace album. I was really excited by my pony finds yesterday, and just need to post them somewhere!
Well, upon arriving at the car boot yesterday, it appeared the dealers had beaten us to it - again! Not a pony in sight, although there were plenty of fakies everywhere. I picked up this pretty little Ballerina fakie for 50p, because I just can't resist MLP pose fakes, and I'd never seen an adult Ballerina before.
I really thought that was all I'd find that day, until I walked a little further down the aisle, and saw a batch of rather tangled hair on a stall ahead of me! *Gasp!*
That's exactly as they stood on the table, as I stood in front of them with my heart pounding. They were surrounded by other '80's toys, which I unfortunately couldn't afford. The stallholder was selling off all of her old childhood stuff!
My heart beating faster and faster, I asked the woman how much she wanted for the ponies. "Five pounds (That's just under $10 to any Americans reading this) for the whole lot. I've also got the Stable down here." The woman pointed at a rather battered building down on the ground. I quickly agreed to buy them, and she helped me to put them all in an enormous black bag. The photo just doesn't do them justice...and I doubt that anyone can see exactly what's in there anyway, so let's see what I got for my money...
There's the usual Lemon Drop, Bow Tie (Collector pose!), Posey and Peach Blossom...
...Gypsy and Baby Half Note Gypsy wasn't feeling too well either, it would appear. As can be seen in both picture one and picture two, she was suffering from a rather bad case of the "Damp conditions fungus disease"!
...But now things start to look up a little...
A Snugglebumm's dog somehow got in there, along with Nibbles and Dibbles - just look at that GORGEOUS pink hair!!! The photo washed it out a little, but she's just as she would have been when she came out of the packet! ;D
...And the we have Magic Hat and Speedy...
...Up, Up and Away, with the PINKEST OF PINK hair! I can't believe that it's stayed that way after all these years!
Was that it? Why were you so excited over a little bit of pink hair, Lancer? Oh, wait a moment. Who's that little pale green coloured pony by the side of the Baby Bonnet School Of Dance (complete with bow handle, which you'd never, EVER found still attatched to a Ballet School before)? I feel I should know that one...

ICE CRYSTAL!!!
I almost died when I saw him, and especially since there's not a mark on him. In fact, he rather dulled my excitement in finding a Bow Tie brooch which I'd been looking for since I heard about it last year for 5p (about 9 cents!) on another table.
The badge can be seen here, along with Nibbles and Dibbles, who've found a cosy place to sleep inside a bag of accessories enclosed within the Stable. However, Nibbles and Dibbles claim that these are not their real names, due to a sticker found, along with many other MLP stickers, on the Show Stable wall!
I didn't dare wash the twins, for fear of ruining their still-quite-curly hair, so excuse their grubbiness.
Anybody want to see photos of the other ponies now they've been cleaned up though?
Posey and Bow Tie - OK, so not the best condition ever, since Posey has faded hair, and Bow Tie has lost her curls, however much I tried to change that fact - failing dismally, as you can see! But there's still no pen marks or other major problems, and they're very welcome at the Rescue Home
As are Lemon Drop and Baby Half Note - Lemon Drop is the worst off of the bunch, with one small cancer mark on the ridge between her head and body (it's not in view when she's standing though, only if you try to wash her thoroughly, and lift her head slightly!), but Baby Half Note still has her original curls, and eyes that blink like new, with no rust at all!
Speedy and Peach Blossom couldn't wait to show off. Speedy has a slight scratch to one eye, but her hair is so crisp, like it's never been combed before! And Peach Blossom's curls came naturally after I washed her - I don't know if they're original, or something that her previous owner made up though. Her biggest problem is her lack of wings, and the fact that her previous owner had stuck large quantities of glue and double-sided tape to the wing holders, trying to hold her wings in at some point, I guess. All of that's behind little Peach Blossom now though. I just have to get her some replacement wings, and she'll be good as new!
Magic Hat and Gypsy, parading for all to see! Gypsy has now been cured of her "Damp Conditions Fungus Disease", and is one of the mintiest ponies I've ever seen! Not one spot of glitter lost from her symbol, not one missing hair plug, not one little eye rub...yeah, you get the picture. And Magic Hat, the magical Magic Message pony who STILL WORKS! And the prize-winner for whitest of white MLP's!
But the stars of our show just have to be our pink haired girl, Up, Up And Away, and Ice Crystal, her handsome companion. I think they like each other, don't you?
