Here you go! The moment you've all been waiting for! Photos of the whole collection of Rescue Ponies who live at our home. I'll try to guide you around the living room as we go, but don't be shocked if your eyes take a while to adjust to the coloured pictures ahead!
We start on the window sill. Excuse the screwed up net curtains - the ponies refuse to allow them to fall nicely! Here we have fakies (not all of those who live at the Rescue Home - they didn't fit! - but quite a nice selection !) and some of our pony cancer patients...
"Don't forget us!" Call four Lemon Drop's and a Starshine as they see me about to leave the windowsill with my camera.
I turn away from the window, and see my Mum's antique chair in the corner. There should be just two teddies on the chair, but some of our most recent rescues have managed to climb up and join the pair of bears!
Having tripped on two piles of pony videos, a few jigsaws and three MIP G3's (MIP G2 and G3 are not shown in these pictures - I'll have to do that some other time!) I walk two steps and come across our TV, standing on a cupboard full of videos. Videos have gathered in piles in front of this cupboard over the years as well, not that we can get to them - the ponies have invaded this space too!
The Flutter Ponies have landed - well, all except for Peach Blossom who is currently "flying" from a thread out of this picture, and a few Honeysuckle's and Morning Glory's who we'll meet in just a moment! - on my Grandma's old sewing box where once needles and threads would reign! What a shock she'd have if she saw the brightly-coloured inhabitants of this space these days!
Now to the table of "special" ponies where the "Royalty" of our Rescue Home stands! Here you will meet the Tales characters, our three Truly's, two Lofty's, Tex, Gusty, Pinkie Pie, Kiwi Tart, Sheel Belle, Sweet Stuff, Galaxy and Posey's Elderly Owner's infamous Posey!
More Pony Cancer patients are standing proudly on the matelpiece and fireplace. In the third picture, you can see my Great Grandad riding Herbert the horse in WWI. Herbert was sadly killed after the war to be made into horse meat - something which broke my Great Grandad's heart and still lives in ours to this day .
Oh, who's this? It's the Ponyland pets, who have a temporary home on a pile of library books which are sitting in front of the sofa!
These ponies are performing acrobatics behind the sewing box and Flutter Ponies!
And these MLP's are standing below the acrobatic ponies!
These ponies and fakies are standing on the other side of the fireplace.
Now to crawl along the floor and get shots of the MLP's hiding beneath the Flutter Pony sewing box and Special Pony Table!
Re-emerging from under the sewing box and table...well, you'll have to see it to believe it!
The "Plushie Pile" officially, but how many sneaky little plastic ponies can you spot? These are newly arrived duplicate ponies and some of the latest G3 Collection MLP's!
I am completely lost for words on what to say about most of these! So here's a mostly photographic guide of the rest of the room!
The "fuzzily soft" So Soft Ponies are "nuzzling" up to each other on another piece of my Mum's antique furniture!
And here are the many McDonalds Ponies, Petite Ponies and Bubble Bath Bottles who live at the Rescue Home along with my MOC Posey, MOC Stargaze and MWP Birthflower Rose!
Some MLP logos I made from paper as decorations at Truly's welcome party (the reason that the ponies are out in the living room)!
The overflow collection G3's (Well, those who would fit - the "overflow overflow" invaded the Plushie Pile!) are living temporarily on this G3 MLP table with Sprinkles and her waterfall!
Pony Paradise!!
Well, that's the end of the tour, folks! I hope you enjoyed it, and will continue to read about the ponies at the Rescue Home on this forum ! I also hope you aren't too dazzled by the pictures above, and that your computers haven't all crashed (as mine will probably do when I post this LOL!)
