The MLP Live Show is to be released on DVD! I do hope that it will be available outside the US so that those of us with no chance at all of seeing the real show will be able to get it!

This is what MLPMerriweather wrote on the Arena...

I got to go see My Little Pony Live today with Firehelix in Hollywood! It was great, but imagine my surprise when they search my bag and force me to check my camera! Apparently today's performance was taped for a DVD! So no cameras allowed at this one performance. They even had a big sign about it in the lobby. Firehelix and I took pics of it (with our cell phones. hehe.) which we will post later. During the show there were camera guys everywhere and a camera on a crane zooming over the audience. Microphones were hanging above every group of seats. If you see two adults in the DVD with no kids that's us. LOL!

I have seen posts in other MLP Live threads about people hoping for a DVD release, so I am quite happy for those of you that can't make it to the show, but any of you that can, please don't let the DVD stop you. The experience is unlike anything I imagined from the trailer and bootleg clips. Plus, Hasbro is gonna be mad if my post kills attendance. >.< LOL.

Also, we got to meet the performer who played Rarity and several others, although I was not sure which was which of the others. Firehelix's friend had met the guy in the Rarity suit before and told him about Firehelix so he sort of knew about collectors being at the show.

I am so glad I bought tickets, the show was totally worth it.

I will tell more about it soon and post pics, but I am so tired tonight.

Maybe its too early yet but we shall see

I have more info on this! I found some of the new dress up ponies and picked them up to find a new brochure in them. There is a section on MLP Live with the usual blahdy-blah about finding a city near you, and it says 'Or purchase it on DVD Spring 2008!' I guess that's what we'll have to expect.
